What is Guru-Sishya Sampradaya Utsav’s overall program?

Day 1- Saturday August 15, 2026: GROUP PERFORMANCES by schools
Time Allocation: Up to 15 participants: 20 min; add 10 min for each additional block of up to 15 participants (16-30 participants: 30 min, 31-45 participants: 40 min, 46-60 participants: 50 min). The time allocated to a given school group shall be communicated to the teacher/Guru post registration by ALL group participants.

Day 2 - Sunday August 16, 2026: Individual performances by senior students and adults – time slots NOT TO EXCEED 15 minutes per performance.

Festival Theme 2026: This year’s festival theme is Hindustani Carnatica.

Registration & Fees

School Groups: – Participating schools will register as ONE group each, with the principal teacher/Guru being the point of contact.
Individuals: Registration process shall be similar to Composers Day.
FAAA Members: Registration free of charge irrespective of performing in a school group or individually.
Non-Members of FAAA: Should contribute a participation fee of $35/person whether registered as individual performer or as part of a school group.

All the events will be conducted at Chinmaya Mission, 325 El Dorado, Mesa, AZ 85202.
